Nine-time GRAMMY Award nominee and Curb | Word Entertainment artist Natalie Grant has released her soulful gospel rendition of “Bridge Over Troubled Water” with one of Gospel Music’s top artists, Tasha Cobbs Leonard. Originally written by Paul Simon and released by Simon & Garfunkel in 1970 and inspired by a classic gospel song, “Bridge Over Troubled Water” is a call to come together in unity during otherwise turbulent times. To record the moving rendition, Grant and Cobbs Leonard performed live with full backing band at Blackbird Studio in Nashville to capture the performance as it happened, with no overdub or post-production tuning. 10 Episode Second Season to Heat Up Screens This Summer
SILVER SPRING, Md. (February 14, 2024) - The newest season of CLEO TV’s “TOUGH LOVE: ATLANTA” promises to capture the drama and intensity of the characters’ darkest secrets in an explosive way. In season two, the group navigates a shocking underworld, grappling with blurred moral lines. Amidst the criminal chaos, the characters also untangle their tumultuous love lives, adding a layer of complexity to the storyline. As the group faces choices that will shape their destinies and the fate of their loved ones, "TOUGH LOVE: ATLANTA" promises a gripping season filled with suspense, unexpected twists, and the relentless pursuit of survival and love in Atlanta.
Power couple Roni and Caleb Davis are the creators of the “TOUGH LOVE” franchise which began as a web series in 2017. The Emmy®-nominated drama series, starting with “TOUGH LOVE (NYC), led the couple to multiple successful spinoff series based in different regional locations: “TOUGH LOVE: LA” and “TOUGH LOVE: ATLANTA”, both of which made their network debut on CLEO TV.
“With the TOUGH LOVE franchise, Roni and Caleb have mastered the art of storytelling that captures the realities of Black millennial relationships across multiple urban regions,” says Dexter Cole, SVP, Program Scheduling and Acquisitions at TV One. “We are thrilled to bring another season of this highly successful anthology series to CLEO TV and to see how each character again manages to take Atlanta by storm.”
The second season of “TOUGH LOVE: ATLANTA” recently wrapped production and includes ten half-hour episodes. The new season debuts on CLEO TV this Summer.

Anissa LaShay (Jackie)
Anissa LaShay takes over the role of “Jackie” for the series second season. An actor and producer, LaShay is known for her roles in “Auntie’s Dearest,” “Two’s A Couple , 3’s A Crowd” and “About Him: The Other Side.”
Julian Horton (Drew)
Born in Philadelphia, but raised in Atlanta, GA, Julian Horton is a multi-hyphenate figure who has found success in sports, music, and in film and television. Working with JK Simmons and Uzo Aduba, Horton can be seen in the STX film, “National Champions” that is available via Netflix. Horton has also recently appeared on BET and Amazon Prime in the movies “Ruined” and “The Re-Education of Molly Singer” and soon to be released Black Spartans alongside Neal McDonough and J. Alphonse Nicholson.
Kadeem Isaiah (Kenny)
Kadeem Isaiah, a native of Atlanta, GA, by way of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Having a background in musicianship and visual arts has opened his interest in the craft of telling stories. Since his discovery, Kadeem has graced screens worldwide on a national level in episodic television and feature films.
Alisha S. Ward (Lisa)
Alisha Ward grew up in Lagrange Georgia. As a kid She would run around creating imaginary adventures. She has landed roles in various projects, including “Mike” on Hulu, “Finding Happy” on Bounce TV, “How Did I Get Here “on Pureflix, “Forbidden Fruit,” “Read Between The Lines,” “False Advertisement,” “A. Love's Journey,” “Line Sisters” on Lifetime, “All The Queen's Men” on BET.
Ashanti Harris (Iesha)
Ashanti Harris is an actress whose magnetic performances have left an indelible mark on the screen. Harris has roles in shows like "A La Carte" on AllBLK, "The Lost Sex Tape" on Tubi, "Finding Happy" on Bounce TV, and "ATL Homicide" on TV One. She’s proven her versatility and acting prowess. In a standout achievement, Harris achieved success by winning the "Shoot Your Shot" showcase at the 2023 American Black Film Festival (ABFF), earning her a leading role alongside Omarion in an upcoming series on ALLBLK.

TV One’s “Good Times” 50th-anniversary celebration kicks off on Friday, February 9 at 8/7c with two episodes of “Maude,” introducing the character of Florida Evans, played by Esther Rolle. The marathon continues throughout the weekend with episodes spanning all six seasons of “Good Times.” 2
"Good Times" transcended the label of a mere sitcom; it became a cultural phenomenon resonating across generations. Created by Eric Monte and Mike Evans, the show authentically depicted the struggles and triumphs of a Black family in Chicago, breaking barriers and paving the way for diverse storytelling on television. From moments filled with laughter to poignant reflections, “Good Times” broke new ground in portraying the African American experience with nuance and dignity, remaining a touchstone of African American culture and inspiration.
Alongside the marathon, TV One has planned special content features, including interviews with ”Good Times” cast members Jimmie Walker, Bern Nadette Stanis, and Ralph Carter. His catalog is best known today for its sampling by several prolific hip hop and R&B artists.
